well the reason i ask this is because i dont know what i wanna do
I can get a wideband o2 to monitor since im using my gt ecu
Or i could get a safc2 for the same price. Plus i will have to get an fmu, but what is an fmu gonna cost me?
I just wanna run stock boost, more would be better but, I dont wanna spend much right now,i just wanna get it runnin good on stock boost.
I dont wanna spend alot on a piggyback system cause in just over a year i wanna go standalone.
I think what im gonna do is: i can get a wideband o2 for a good price, so i can use that to monitor if i need any fuel management beyond the gt ecu's capability.

Look on ebay Cartech and vortech FMU's run you anywhere from the 60-100 dollar range.

The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

now the rest is what I plan on doing to help insure that my GTX runs forever and gives me some more power.

Oil, filter, spark plugs.... pretty much all of the extras that GroHarlem so nicely listed in his Motor swap guide (Thanks to Wil).

          Fidanza lightweight flywheel
          ACT clutch
          Short shifter + bushings
          powder coating the header
          shot peening the gears

List I made from an earlier thread.
I got all but a few items listed there.
I like your set-up. Just wondering how much did it cost you just for the parts including the GT-X motor?

too damn much. Heres what I can remember for now.......

Motor - 850 off the GB
G-series Tranny - 200 bux J/Y special.... came from LX with 75k miles and was owned by a girl.....
G series Axles - passenger side came with half shaft with tranny so $0 ..... but I still have to go to auto zone for the driver one... around 100 bux IM sure
Half or Intermediate shaft from protege LX - see above
Speedo cable from protege LX - dapro on here parting out LX - 25 bux or something
ECU - changed plans..... GTX ecu from Marc for 200 or something like that....
LHD GTX harness - since I got the GTX ecu, dave sourced me a LHD OEM GTX harness for 250 I think.
FMU - Cartech runs 60-100 bux of ebay. vortech sometimes less sometimes more.
Intercooler - dave sourced me OEM one for 250ish I wanna say... sorry been a while.
intercooler pipin - came as part of the 250 above.
boost controller - I dont like the shape of the apexi one (pen shape) I have heard even better things about the GReddy pro-fec B one. If the price comes down a little more IM getting that one.
            A/F gauge - still need
            boost gauge - still need
            EGT gauge - still need
Now thinking 3" Exhaust piping, mandrel bent - dad has mandrel pipe bender so IM making my own out of stainless steel
magnaflow exhaust - fuq_a_vtec and Ne3ek have convinced me.....
RX7/Walboro 255l/p/h fuel pump - look up Looseboltsmotorsports on ebay. Got mine for 80 bux shipped or something like that.
bov - off miata.net board Bosch BOV good for 10 psi, I will probably crush the spring so go up to 12 or so. I dont wanna go much higher than that Paid 20 bux or something.

ACT clutch - organic street disc 320 shipped or so
            Fidanza flywheel - 350 shipped
            RX7 vaf - 35 shipped
Toga high flow oil pump - saw on Tweeaks rebuild... not too bad for 200 bux I figure it will lengthen the life of the turbo getting more oil and all.

Dave said the motors from the GB wont get here until February sometime so I got some time to search out what I want.

I still have some items to go before I can even think of swapping, but I got a good start IMO.

Not too bad IMO I have spent probably 2100 or so so far. I still have a ways to go though. I still dont have the clutch, gauges, hard pipes, exhaust pipes, or muffler.
I figure another 1500 or so for the rest of the crap I want to get the car running how I want. And dont forget to read wil's interchangability guide.... I think if you replace all the small stuff in there is runs you about 400 bux or so.
