the seller of that kit told me it wont work on the vj20....but what i found turned out to not be what i thought so the seller canceld my bid (at my request) and im still in need of a rebuild :\

are you sure it's the seals red - is there any shaft play? My turbo when it first started let out a bit of old black oil ... but after running it for a while, there is no oil in any of my intake pipes ..

well it leaks it...it drips down the out side....

any know if the ACT clutch requires any ajustments anywhere in the clutch system? i cant get it to disengauge to let me put the car in gear...

hmmmmm well i let it idle for 20mins today while i was tinkering with stuff and it seems to have regained the ****ty idle but its not smoking anymore and its not shooting liquid out the exhaust...when my intake pipe comes from dave ill see how well it does out on the road on my way to the shop to get all my flanges welded on

what liquid was it shooting out the exhaust before - I had quite a bit of moisture come out of mine when I first started it

Good luck with it on the road - just be prepared in case something hickups and you need a tow or a ride

i really couldnt tell what it was that was coming out the exhaust....it didnt feel like oil but it didnt have any smell either...there was some black smoke along with the liquid...the turbo still has a slight oil leak tho

well, the motor has been sitting for a while - it's normal to have some black and blue at first startup ... the liquid might have just been moisture

Mine leaks from the oil return, but on the intside, theres no sign of a leak, and that after about 7K miles since I have been boosted. I think my oil return line is just crap. When I was using the SAFC, it would blow out all kidns of stuff, smelled like gas, and some oil at times. Since I have been with the GTX ECU, it doesnt have any of those issues.

i found a guy in quebec that can change seal, balance the turbo and change the thing that replace the bearing "sorry dont remember the name lol" for 300$ cnd its turbtech or turbotech 418-877-0666. he just finish a gtr turbo for a friend in montreal, he did a realy good work.
