yea, from the diagnostics box, you jump the TEN and the GND (ground) with a wire or paper clip. then turn the keep to the on position (the click before you turn the car over) and it will flash 3 times, then start flashing codes from the 'check engine' light.
LONG flashes are 10s ect LONG LONG would be 20.
SHORT flashses are 1s. ect LONG LONG SHORT SHORT would be 22.

i called mazda here in norway and the antitheft in the e.c.u started in 95 i think they said
but the 2.0kf v6 that i have was only sold in a period of 95 to 96 here in scandinavia. do some of you guys now if this engine was accessable in other countrys befor 95
i have that harnes but is the e.c.u that is the problem.
the engine is in the car and drive ready but wont start becues of the e.c.u has that antitheft or whatever is called
but if i use the 1.8 ecu on 2.0 the engine will run lean and if i plugg in the 2.5 ecu the car will run to rich.
i think im giving up this motor and sell this to one whit a mx-3 thats is newer than 94
and rater buy me a kl-de

it will be ok, with either ecu. they just have different fuel curves. its not that serious. it will prob run the best with the k8 ecu anyway.
