hey wats up man i feel ur pain trust me i had a vision of wat ur doing now myself i own a 2nd gen 4 6 yrs set it up with the mazdaspeed exterior i even did the z5 swap 2 bp es 95-98 us motor that wat motor u should have gone with remember u have obd2 setup from the 95 model and up plus u also have map sensor which is perfect 4 doing super safc II fuel controller setup 2 tune ur boosted motor if u have any question on doing ur swap ask me i know alot about 2nd gens but sold mine and got a 1st gen 323 se hatchback check it out on my profile i have plenty of pics

im just waitin for the mega squirt to come in....and i think i am gonna go back to the '971.5 harness and just use the '91 connectors....so i dont have to play with the cluster much or the ecu.

if you are going with MS.. arent you getting rid of the stock ECU?

i'd modify the 91 engine harness and add to it the dash plugs that you might need for the tach or idiot lights.

is it possible to run the stock ecu for the dash and ms for the engine....??? sorry for the dumb question but im new to the standalone crowd.

i just got my grant money so i want to order the ms today.

I have a 95 protege and i have done a bp swap its not easy im now going MegaSquirt in a few weeks i have a guy that does it cheap in Florida and tune's it also im look for 400hp

i just have to make the harness to run the ms2 then get some axles, starter and fuel pump.....and also make a rear tranny mount.

ill keep updating. its slow but comin.

do you have any more pics? Did you have to remove the turbo and manifold to drop it in cause it looks kinda cramped up front

no but if i did it again i would atleast remove the turbo it scraped the rad support goin in alittle....yeah it is pretty tight..but looks awsome.

how goes the battle? Did you get the rear mount figured out?

i think i just need to get a egt one and drill the holes in the crossmember for the mount to bolt to.

also i sold the vj20 and bought a garrett t3/t4 and in the process of makin a adapter flange to bolt a d16 honda turbo manny so i have the external wastegate...which is a tial38mm.
