What cranking settings do you need Jon? I am assuming you are using mine. The car should start easily with those.

i dont know, i tried starting with really low cranking PW's and moving up, but it never seems to catch... and when i pull the plugs they are soaked. i know i have spark because i set the timing with a timing light while cranking.

With the PW I gave you, you should be good for starting. You can even deviate from those quite a bit and the car will still start or catch.

So your timing is correct I assume? In that case make sure your dwell for spark is set right and that you are sparking every 180 degrees (use the distributor settings for spark)

Also make sure you set your cranking RPM around 200-300.

Deflood the engine if it's flooded by holding your foot on the floor and cranking.

Also, don't forget your GTR injectors are peak and hold (low imp) so the injector settings must be changed from what mine are at or you have to use a resistor box.

After all this fun, do an oil change as you probably have lots of fuel in there and keep your battery on a charger - I killed mine trying to start.

lex do you have aim or anything so i can talk to you about this?

timing is at 8* while cranking. ive moved it up and down from that but it acts the same.

the disty settings should be right, because i based this from the MSQ of a bp that was running just fine

ive got the Pwm settings for the injectors set up

Clear your PMs Jon, I am guessing that if your timing is correct and you're not backfiring into the intake, your positive KPA values are either from a bad MAP sensor of you have your cam timing in wrong.

Jon, I checked some datalogs and you should def see vacuum when cranking and it should be pulling lower and lower. Something is up with your valvetrain setup or you are firing incorrectly from the MS.
