Protege's on Drag Track (1/4 Mile Time)

15.3 on a protege lx....i am going to try my car on the track in 2 weeks rite now the weather in Cali has been great (78-83 degree) i have basically almost the same set up as urs im hoping i can hit atleast 15.4-15.7 hopefully...i'll let u guys know.

lol. I see your from the bay area california. I think thats really close to sea level. I wish I was down that low. My car would probably be in the 14s if that was the case.

not to sound like a jerk but i dont think ur car is capable of hitting 14's bro. w/ the mod that u have. not unless u strip it off and use slicks then maybe.....

naw, u dont sound like a jerk at all. The 14 was a very optimistic guess. I weighed my car in and with me in it it was around 2370lbs. i did strip some weight off of it to. I dont remember the exact weight but it was close to that. If I had better driving skills, and some drag radials I could probably inch my way into the HIGH 14s, maybe.

my car with the AT and sohc trapped at 72-74ish mph. i dunno... if i cant make my pro run 14's this summer i'll be pissed. my other car is fast but im pretty sure nobody is suprised when they lose to it so it wouldnt be as much fun.
