    Yup - and remember that 15 psi is what it creeps to. So I hit full 15 psi at around 4800 RPM which is late very late. I need to work on the boost control for sure.

          Lex,
          Great job from your first time at the drags with your Escort. I remember the first time I drag raced, back in HS, I sucked at the reaction time and launch. If you keep going, you'll certainly keep getting a little better and tuning/boost control should get you a bit more!!

              Yes, I'm going to have to look for dome of those. I also have a few other tricks up my sleeve. First, I want to spool much faster and push more boost. Then, if things work out I should be working on some really big boost and more timing with meth injection.

              Have been too busy to get those videos/slips up. I will get them up within a few days and I will include a megalogviewer log of my 13.9 run.

                  It does wonders for knock and running big timing and big boost. I was pitted next to a 93 DSM with a completely stock bottom end 7 bolt 4g63 running 26psi of boost, revving to 8000 RPM and doing passes at 11.3 and 126mph. He was running meth.

                  He had been doing this for a long time and bottom end had more than 120k miles on and it was daily driven. MS3 guys also use meth since the motor is prone to knock retard stock when they turn up the boost AND advance timing and it results in 0 knock.

                              i was seeing 110-112 last year at 18psi. with my 205 50 15's that was right at the top of 4th. now my new 4th is too tall... so yeah. going to go back to a stock one i think, but keep the 3.85 final.

                                Is the car much slower with the taller ratio? When do you build full boost by? Also consider upping the boost another couple psi and maybe try spraying water or meth to keep it safe. The bottom end should hold.
