Unless it's a Boxster S, it's only 210 or so HP, and they are heavy, so I wouldn't put Boxstes in the fast car group. Great momentum cars though, you have to be stupid to get crossed up in a regular Boxster. The best scary fast car I've ever drove was an Porsche 914 with a built up 3.2 911 engine that was about 260 hp. 0-50 was under 5 sec! 0-60 was a little on the slow side because you had to shift twice. 2nd gear hit the rev limiter about 54 mph.

I know what you mean about the 0-50 being fast. Those transmissions can't be shifted very quick. I bought my current 911 with a 3.6 swap for my 914. The car could probably hit 60 sub 4 seconds if the transmission could take it. light light body's and the later model 3.2's and 3.6's are great torque'y engines.Ian Boyd- Bellingham, WA (click vehicle to view)
