Both of these sizes are recommended for a rim width size range of 5.5" to 7.5". Nothing wider is recommended for a 5.5" rim.

Thanks goldstar. My rims originally came with a 185/60/R15 tire. If I run smaller profile tires, my speedo/odo will not longer be accurate and my gearing will seem even shorter
Is this something that one should do, or should I just get larger rims and smaller profile tires at that point?

Compared with stock 185/60-15
205/50-15 gives speedo reading 2,8% too fast (60 is actually 58.3)

Hm... unless I am missing something here, both sizes should give the speedo a reading that is too fast since they both result in a wheel that has a small diameterComment
