There are some places here in STL...Babbler(sp?) state park, Johnson Shutins, etc...they're west of STL and I know there are a lot more, but I don't go camping nor do I want to...but if there's a place to meet up for a day or some place with a hotel I wouldn't mind sticking around.

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

everything is a one or two day drive for me, but colorado sounds nice.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

I'd vote for a meet somewhere in Illinois/Michigan, maybe a little bit east of chicago on the lake? nice campgrounds?

I just think its a little closer to the middle for everybody (especially us east-coasters) would make it a little more do-able. Kansas is far as hell!!!
                I like your thinking Eric.

Keep the ideas coming guys. Let's try to firm things up.

My schedule is pretty flexible. I have two weeks paid vacay whenever I want 'em, so anything works for me.

Oh, and Ryan #2, you better come camping with us you sissy.

If not, we'll have to pitch some tents on the hotel's front lawn.

I'll have to see about it...depends how close the meet is to me anyway, what days, etc.

I'm driving halfway across the country to go to it, so I better see your skinny ass there.

If not, I'll leave a flaming bag of **** on your front steps on my way through.
