i think we should have it before the 4th because i have a tendency to spend waaay too much money during the 4th. the weather is also more inhabitable in june...
just two more cents...

Hello People! Off line for a few days....
if Kentucky is the choice of the meet, I can tell you, honestly that early June is going to be the best time of the year for great weather. May is too un- predictable for suitable weather. In the last 200 years only twice has any temperature under 50 degrees has occurred for a daily average, in early June for only a few days in the 1830's and early 1910's. And that was due to a cold front, or 'cold snap'. Most June weather in Kentucky on average, is lows of 62 degrees for a daily low, and 85 for a daily high.
I hope this is helpful.

Tim (projectmx) brought up a good point earlier, we should definitely try to set up driving trains going to the meet. this will make life a bit more fun for everyone.
a train starting in the great lakes area will be planned for sure, picking up a few of the ohio/indiana guys on the trip over.
anyone else liek this idea?---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---
