If David can do a drive through, or if a ranger on the phone can tell us sites that have partial shade, I think getting what we need now is a great peace of mind. there's like what, 15 of us solid committed? 4-5 sites? Should ask about group discounts, just in case. We can share electric and water, although the only lighting I want is a fire I'm bringing Montanan wood too! lol
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

be careful about what what they will allow you to bring in. some states don't allow fruit or wood across their borders. besides that i would think 2-3 members tops per campsite.

You can bring fruit wood to burn in Kentucky. It is a BBQ state and we use apple and cherry all of the time to BBQ. Peach works too.

you actually do have to be careful about the wood. i know when i went to ohio camping we had to use ohio wood because of some insect that might have come with any wood we brought from where we were.

yea cus its not like you throw the wood into the woods, usually i burn everything. haha last summer when me and my buddy went camping, on our last day, we started our bbq with all the paper scraps we had accumulated through the weekend.it really cuts down on trash. all we ended up throwin in the trash was plastic stuff. the cans went into a recycling bin.

I can tell you, I plan to be there Thursday-Sunday Night.

I think coreo19 also wants to camp those nights as well.

Anyone else that wants to join me please give me a PM or email me.

Ryan an Moderators please help me out, let me know what you need me to do
to so you travelers form wherever have the best time for your drive.

I want this meet to be even better that the Devil's Lake, if it can. Most of you guys coming have been hard Zoomers longer than I, or members here longer anyway.

I believe you guys drive this far to get here, I plan to keep the drama at bay... no one needs that garbage when you take time from work and drive so far, it's time to play/party if you will.

What: Club Protege's Second National Annual Meet
When: Third weekend in June (June 20-22nd 2008)
Where: Kentucky Northfolk Campground a campground of Rough River Lake: http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/rrl/

Why: A good chance to meet fellow mazda enthusiasts and have a good time

This is simple, if you are certain you will be attending, say so. If unsure/maybe/undecided/possibly etc..... say so. If you are not attending, you may say so if you choose. It really isn't necessary to say so because if you don't say that you are coming or might be, it will be assumed that you are not coming at all.

Hint: It makes things much easier to coordinate if we have people who will commit in advance.

If I can find someone to go with me then I'll go.
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

How is the water running in the Haw?? I ran it a few back.

When you come take the freeway north past Mt. Airy threw Virginia, the drive is awesome! You'll make better time than going threw Tennesse.

We'll see what Turpro says about that, there is a toll road in WVA. They hit you for every Axel to, the last time I went I was pulling a trailer, every axel with a wheel on the ground is charged.
