its off a third gen camaro. 1982-1992
so, i think ive decided how to solve the axle issue. ill most likely just run bg hubs, then eventually drill them out to 4x114. seems like the easiest and least amount of money needed to solve it. anyone know if there is a huge difference between bf and bg hubs? i looked at the junkyard and they seem to be pretty close.

Iirc you'll need the struts too and have to enlarge the hole in the Bf strut mount. Also grab the whole rear suspension from a bg I think it all bolts in. There was a thread on m323p about this so I'm just going off what I think I remember reading.12 cbr250r: daily ride

Just discovered the struts I was going to use wont clear !!!! Spring diameter is about 5mm to big to go in the tower....they were 626 GC model. I'm going to look at some Ford TX3 turbo struts and hubs soon and also checking BFMR. I'll let you know what happens. Yet to find driveshafts the right length so it looks like custom is he only way to go.

so today i didnt do anything but upgrade my alternator. i planned on using the 4 cylinder 60 amp alt since it mounts up the same. the only thing i would have had to do was change the pulley to a groove belt one. but i decided to just get a new one instead. 90 amps as well. now i just have to find a bolt long enough to mount it up.

the way its looking right now, im going to swap to bg hubs and give welded mx-3 axles a try. i have a friend who has access to a very strong gas welder. he says he can weld a plate and put it on a bender and the plate bends 180 and the welds dont even pop.
its worth a shot..
