ya ya ryan, we know lol.

KL is still a great platform, well made, just the electronics suck IMO, they could have that thing doing much better lol.

Don't forget to check vac leaks tho, they tend to leak at the intake manifold to cylinder heads...its a real pain. I tried installing those outlaw thermo gaskets...intake had to come off 4 times! ended up tossing the thermo gaskets lol.

Also i'd recommend the HEI mod too any KL owner

Sorry for the delay....your temp gauage wire on the BF wiring is likely to be yellow/white or maybe plain yellow. If you touch it to earth with ignition On the temp gauge should go to full hot. My gauge only reads half way when the fans turn on.

yeah thats what i did and it pegged out to full H like you said. but where exactly should i ground(earth) it so it works correctly? i put the yellow wire on the one spade temp sensor and touched the ground to the manifold and my gauge never moved.

ok so i got the temp gauge working. it was just that i had not let it run long enough for the temp gauge to even move..lol. but right as it got to running temp and i shut it off, i leaned over the engine bay to release the pressure off the cap and my custom top hose busted off the reducer and sprayed hot coolant all over my face, eyes, and mouth. needless to say im in pain. so now i sit here and type to you will aloe all over my face. lol

Put a few welds on the end of the pipes so you dont have to worry about them blowing off

i was thinking about just flaring it out with some pliers but that will work too. i definitely tightened it a whole like more this time. used a rachet with a 6mm instead of a screwdriver.

my bracket that chris (damkid) made for me is on the way. it should be here sometime next week. so ill hopefully be on the road next week.

i doubt ill beat on it too bad in the beginning. that axle has to last until i can save up for a custom set.
