Thanks, But its more about having the right tools, if i didn't have access to the tools at my work, chances are i'd still be running the B6T

Finally got around to test fitting my intake, the way i built it, i can have the throttle body facing either direction, it'll face the tranny side when i run it N/A for the first part of the season, then it'll face the pulley side once i get the turbo installed
The first test was hood clearance, i reached my hand through the grille to get this pic.... about 1/4" clearance lol
And the intake itself
But when i put the throttle body on the intake i have clearance issues to deal with
This way, the throttle body hits the fuel rail
And i don't really need to explaing the issues here
What i will do to fix the clearance issues on the pulley side is i'll build a bolt-on extension for the throttle body
For the tranny side i decided to see what happens if i flipped the fuel rails around and it clears
Although the rail is very very close to the throttle body
I've got ideas to modify the fuel rail to help clearances but once i got a solid idea i'll post them

anyone heard of.....
anyone thought or heard of someone doing a v6 (klze?) swap into the old aussie mercury capri?? they are built on the 323 platform.... theres a Millenia in a bone yard near me, and the measurements look real close to fitting..... factory the capri came with a b6d (hydro clutch) or a b6t (cable clutch)......------------" i love the smell of burnt rubber in the morning.... ^^ask the Capri guys if they thought about
I been thinking about how to work out the clearance issues and basically if I were to remove the IAC off the TB, everything would fit nicely, but of course that will cause idling issues, so as a fix for the I am going to try using a VW IAC so I can remote mount it, that's the idea so let's see if it works out

As long as the voltage matches up between the new and old IAC's and same number of wires then I can't see why it wouldn't work lol so tonight I'll check the TB clearance with the IAC removed lol
