    Thanx! Hope to replace the rear seat for a black protege or mx3 seat to finish the interior.
    Haven't made up my mind whether or not if I'm going to paint the exterior all silver again or
    if I'm going to two tone it. (Black on top and silver on bottom.)
    I want to have another go at the intake pipe and manifold with the polisher, and possibly either put the old blue
    valve cover on or just polish the new valve cover. Decisions ,decisions!
    Also have a 3 piece gt spoiler yet to go on and also have the front mud flaps to install also.
    More to come.

      Allright, can someone help a little here! With the new motor in and everything mechanically working great, I'm having an issue that has arrose.
      I have a short somewhere, that is causing the car not to start. I have a new starter in, the battery is new, the alternator is new, but when I turn the key,
      all the bells and whistles come on, but no click click. I can put the car in neutral and turn the key to the on position, go under the hood with a screw driver
      and jump the starter and the car fires right up.
      Does this mean that my ignition modulator is bad or is there possibly a short somewhere?

      Any help would be appreciated!

        I would say the ignition switch, I have replaced 3 of them before in my car and they all had the same symptoms.

          Where is that located? Is in the steering column?

            I haven't been on here in awhile due to not having any time. I've been working alot and also been working with the mortgage consultant
            on trying to buy our first home. Other than that I haven't been able to move my projects along very much. I have gone through my pile of stuff I have in my work shop that I've neglected to install into the Pony.
            I installed my volt meter into my dash, I'm going to install my tachometer probably tomarrow, along with my new head unit. I'll post pics when finished. I'm also going to have to fix and touch up my interior again. My car was broken into the other night and my cheapo head unit, cell phone and racing pedals were stolen, nothing else. ????? Luckily they didn't steal my rims, CD case, and about $400 worth of tools with tool box, or my 12" subwoofers and box. They must have been spooked or something.
            Needless to say I can't wait till we move.

              long overdue update.

              Its been a while since on here last but I have gotten alot done to the Pony build.
              I've gone through alot this year and would like to get my mind off of the bad and move forward.
              I was in the hospital again with pnuemonia, our mortgage fell through, We bought a trailer, my inlaws were killed in a
              fatal car accident, my 8 yr old daughter wrecked her bike and almost died, and my wife of almost 9yrs died last month in her sleep of a heart attack.
              Now with all that out of the way, theres been some good thats come our way. The community has stepped in and is helping my family pick up the pieces, I'm back to work, my 2yr old said her first word, my 2yr and 3yr olds is doing well in day care, the community is repairing my home and painting it free of charge, and financially we are in the positive for the first time! Woot!
              So now I'm gonna show ya'll what I've been up to the past 2 wks. Alot of it is junk yard finds but good all the same.
              The Pony now sports a Civic Mugen front lip, blue glow headlights, Euro style roof rack and a few other odds and ends.

                        And then on my way home on Friday my engine harness where the battery,starter and alternator all are connected to ,decides to catch on fire. Thankfully I was at home, I had just pulled into my parking spot when I noticed black smoke. Saved everything except the battery, wire harness and starter. Fire extinguishers are awesome. Over the weekend I was able to get to the junkyard and pick up a new harness and to Auto Zone and pick up a new starter and battery. Hopefully this weekend I'll get it back on the road. Wish me luck.

                          do you have a car audio system in there?? you might be drawing too much amperage through the system which caused it to start on fire. you might consider changing up to 4 guage wiring i just did this---(see my recent posts in my FE3 build thread)

                                Dude, I didn't see the part about the passing. My condolenses go out to you and your children. Sorry to hear such bad news, but keep your head up. We are here for you if you ever need to talk. Btw, I like the new wheels better, this pony has so much potential. If you could swap all of the stuff from the EGT to the pony, it'd be perfect. Again, sorry to hear about the passing, i'll have to keep you in my prayers.
