Got all the rear bushings off. Now I'm waiting for the por-15 to dry. Then a coat of flat black enamel will be sprayed then it's up for the whole rear assembly. But of course it has to be done in 20* weather

This project is going to be wrapped up pretty soon. Here are the updates:

Today: I got all the rear end suspension all rust proofed (waiting to dry, ****ing cold temps!). Tomorrow (2/15/10) I will be taking the old rear end off and working on taking some rust from underneath off and apply por-15, then a nice coat of rubber spray paint (undercoating)

Engine just needs to be put back together. I have to check clearances from the valves to the pistons. The head is shaved all the way down to the minimum and the block got shaved just a hair bit. I just want to make sure it's fine. Hope I can have this all done by late February.

Also I have decided to do a flat black home paint job. The guy who had me hooked up with a paint booth just moved to CA and now I don't have the access, so I think flat black would look awesome!
