My 626 mtx swap.

I miss this car lol, I can't wait to start working on it after the winter. If I still want to keep it lol, here's a short list...

pull motor/trans
power wash motor/trans
power wash engine bay
swap in MTX engine harness and power harness
Replace OEM exh manifolds with ones that have threads for the Y pipe lol (undersized bolt and nut atm :/)
drop the subframes and clean the floor up for some POR 15, as well as the subframes.
Fix small rust spots on car and coat with POR 15

Then she'll be a solid car again, and I can put the Protege away for the winter finally...things just take time in my world it seems lol...location location location...in other words I NEED MOAR ROOM.

u need to stop being lazy and get this done. scotts done like 6 KL swaps since youve had this thread. lol.

kinda on topic, my 626 got backed into last night by scotts mom in her min van. nice big dent on the front drivers side fender. but thankfully the JDM projector headlight survived!

dude, it's not being lazy. I'm over 300km away from the 626. I want nothing more than to work on my cars every single day, but unfortunately I'm not graced with such luck as space, weather, money and help.

im more then sure you make more then me. lol. i only make 200 a week. and i never have help. cause i dont trust anyone touching my cars. closest i have is scott comes over and smokes and watches me work. lol.

you need to find a friend with some extra garage space you can toss 20 a month too so you can at least have the car locally.

If I had more garage space, I probably would have already offered it to jack lol but I'm always up for lending a hand, especially since jacks helped me out a few times now

I get $580 a month all at once. Not a lot when you have to pay for food/clothes/insurance/repairs/gas and the fact I have to drive over 400 miles once a month to doctor appointments . I'd LOVE to get $200 a week. So let's drop it k Pat? You don't know what I deal with daily, so you can't call me lazy. I'm actually still a bit upset you called me lazy as I'm everything BUT.

you took a comment made as a joke a little too seriously man. it wasnt meant offensively at all. more so as a light under your butt to make you want to work on it more. i meant nothing negative from it, and support you and your 626 modding fully. your car is my twin pretty much other then the hood. lol

and i know how **** goes man. everyone has a tons of **** going on in there lifes. kids, marriage and so on. hell, thats why we have these car forums. cause otherwise that family **** would be our entire life. we need forums to give us a break and talk car ****.
