Bled the clutch, filled the trans, supported the harness, and started bolting up the y pipe for good, but ran into an issue with one bolt, so it still leaks lol.

tomorrow I'm going to hit up the wreckers (30 mins away ) to get my missing brake pad lol. Then once I'm back from that I should be able to take her for a test drive once I tighten the axle nuts all the way

Has a really harsh HLA noise right now though, poor car lol, sounds like a hammer hitting the intake right now I'll have to change the oil/filter asap.

hla noise is probably just from air getting into the HLA while its been sitting. its pretty normal, it should go away the more you drive it. but def do an oil change.

i agree about the rareness of the mtx v6's. people are always shocked when they see mine. the mtx 4 cyl ones seem to be alot more common. i just got done installing a lip spoiler, jdm headlights, and fogs on my turd 626. now i just need to get my escort strut mounts on there to drop the front down a bit more.

Checked out an MTX mx6 at a yard today, and damn is the harness ever less complicated than the ATX one. I'm definitely going back to grab it once I get some money, everything was nice and flexible too unlike parts of my harness which are almost rock hard lol

yea. the electrical tape on my 626 is way brittle. all i have to do is bend the bunch of wires, and the tape just crumbles to the floor. lol

You ever pull a harness out of a GE before Pat? I know where the ECU is, but how hard is it to get the harness free and out to the engine bay lol

never done it with a motor installed. but without one, its actually really easy. just pops out of the firewall. the dash harness is a whole nother experience though. lol

hmm, well it's either I swap the harness' or I attack the current one with a razor blade and wiring schematic and put it on a diet lol. I really have no use for more of the solenoids on the car asides the emissions ones...wish I knew what else I could clip from the harness lol, the CEL has been on ever since I got it, so I could care less if it stayed on lol.

I just drove her for about 5km , she needs air in the tires, an alignment, a coolant leak fixed under the TB, and a reeeeeeal good cleaning haha.
