108, you are more than welcome to join our convoy to atlanta. just keep up with this thread and you will know everything that is going on. i am pretty sure we'll start a new thread about nopi later in the summer since this one will get too long.

the road we will take is still up in the air, probably turnpike but this could be decided pretty much anytime so no rush.

i have reserved 15 non-smoking rooms ($60 at the hotel we stayed at last year. this includes 2 rooms for asian rick (corolla). most cheaper hotels in the surrounding area are either filled up allready or don't have enough room for all of us. and i am sure nobody here wants to pay $100+ per room.

angie, there will probably be a bed for you in one of the rooms but i don't guarantee you will get the whole room to yourself unless you call and reserve one yourself.

vlad will be reserving cabins this saturday in western North Carolina, $14 per person.

does anybody have a canopy/tent/ez-up type of thing that they will be able to bring for the show? call me if you do. otherwise we are going to have to buy one to take along. if we do, I need somebody who will be able to store this in their garage between meets and before nopi. i don't have a garage. so if you can keep one, give me a call too.

I think that I may have some kind of cover. Let look around my barn and see. If not I'm sure I could borrow one from my friends. Unless you want one for meetings, I'll have a conopy for NOPI.

uhm, no i guess just for nopi. it does rain often in the summer but we have managed to survive previous years so we don't need it for club meets. thanks tony.

so i guess you plan on going to the show too? i know you want to go, you will enjoy the trip as well as tail of the dragon too.

btw, with the number of people we might have going, 1 tent will not be enough. so its a good idea if both you and tony can bring one. i am currently in talks with a nopi person who if all goes well will have a little surprise for us so we are going to need a couple of canopies.

i am sure we'll have a bed for you but if you want your own room i would have to call and reserve one. let me know what you want to do. i also would rather have you stay with us since the more people we have the greater our bargaining power is and we might get some perks from the hotel. last year i had to fight for the damn hose to wash the cars and the manager finally told me that if i leave my driver's license then we can have it. so let me know if you want a room. i have no problems reserving one, i just dont want to cancel a bunch of rooms because people don't show up. and you would have to be there by 4pm or i must have the money to pay for the rooms before hand, otherwise the rooms is up for "sale"
