Out of curiousity how many people have a 2-way radio to bring with them on the trip? Seeing as communication between cars is essential to having this drive go down without a flaw those of you that dont own one should start hitting up EBay. I recommend any of the 5 mile range Motorola radios. I was just checking them out a minute ago, and there are several sets for sale for under $50. Its definately worth the investment.

i have a set of radios. make sure you guys also bring an extra set of batteries because i guarantee you will run out.

also, check the sundays newspaper for sales. there is always at least 1 set for sale at some store. Any store that carries electronics will also carry radios. Please buy them before august official meet which is the 27th.

i am sure we'll have a bed for you but if you want your own room i would have to call and reserve one. let me know what you want to do. i also would rather have you stay with us since the more people we have the greater our bargaining power is and we might get some perks from the hotel. last year i had to fight for the damn hose to wash the cars and the manager finally told me that if i leave my driver's license then we can have it. so let me know if you want a room. i have no problems reserving one, i just dont want to cancel a bunch of rooms because people don't show up. and you would have to be there by 4pm or i must have the money to pay for the rooms before hand, otherwise the rooms is up for "sale"

no, the tour sucks in my opinion. too slow and too many people on the radios. most of the other people on the road would be annoyed by all the ricers. when we drive by ourselves we get attention. its great seeing people point and take notice of us. plus we can't do the tour because we are going to north carolina on thursday and then driving down to atlanta on friday. we will be spending thursday night in western North Carolina and we will do the Tail of the Dragon.

here are the latest radio sales. as posted previously, please buy a radio to keep in your car for road trips as well as drives around the town.

Nopi has fixed our registration process so we can register now. Please register ASAP, right now, as otherwise parking spots will be filled. again, please do not wait. in order for us to be parked together we must register asap. I will call everybody and remind them. You will also have to provide me with your registration #. if you are riding, do not register and do not buy tickets. you will get them from somebody who enters the car. any questions, call me.

Here are the directions.

1. go to www.nopinationals.com
2. click on "register here" on the left
3. click on "register" next to NOPI NATIONALS - ATLANTA
4. fill out the form completely and make sure you choose our club name under "club name"
5. click continue and choose mazda on the next page
6. choose your model and then year
7. click on "car show" and pick a class which suits you
8. you can add another event for which you want to compete like burnout and sound...
9. click on continue and you will see a map of the show grounds.
10. click on "YELLOW K" at the bottom
11. complete the form on the next page and click on "complete registration"
12. print out the next screen and click on "finish" at the top.
