my parents want to go hang out and see whats up. is there anything to do there? might chill on the beach and enjoy the gulf on sanibel island.

just got off the phone with noc basecamp in bryson city, north carolina. this is the place that vlad suggested we stay in. the price is $14 per person per bed in the bunkhouse but the problem is they don't provide you with anything. you have to bring your own linens, pillows, comforter...

so i am thinking that this is way too much packing and trouble especially for one night. if we were staying a week but for one night to bring your own linens and pillows and crap, doesn't make sense.

so, any input? the microtel inn in robbinsville is $50 per room. don't see anything else that can accomodate us. problems/concerns/ideas?

I've noticed that my front seat reclines back pretty far. I'll find a truck stop and sleep. $50.00 sounds pretty good, I don't really care how much. I just need to know how much to bring.

after a long drive the front seat of the protege will not "satisfy" you. you will be tired and cranky and need a good night sleep especially if you want to navigate the tail of the dragon safely.

also remember we will need to make our way back to atlanta on friday and wash our cars. on saturday we will also need to wake up around 6am to get to the track without having to spend 3-4 hours in traffic.
