had a manager from the "good" hotel call me today and he basically begged us to stay there. so let me know where you guys want to stay. prices are the same $59.99 per night.

i would prefer to stay in the new one but my past experience with them when i was going through the reservation process didn't impress me. this is the hotel i wanted to stay at originally but this is the hotel that wanted us to pay more money for the rooms then what i reserved it at through group rates.

i have told them before that we will need to wash the cars. he said he doesn't really have a spot for car washing but it should be fine if we can figure out a way. i will need to confirm.

a lot of other protege owners will be staying in the days inn, just fyi.
new hotel is south of the other one on i75 but the distance to the track is the same.

while the new hotel is higher quality hotel i am a little worried about dealing with them.

hopefully other members on here will tell me what they like betther.

btw, they wanted a deposit before so i will call today and see what kind of terms they will offer us.

Seriously though, as long as "dickwad" manager is on the up & up now, forgive and forget. If he's willing to honor the price, and drop the deposit BS we should be fine. BAsically we are looking for the best quality for the fairest price... and a nice comfy bed to

They didnt give us a lot of hassle...but I wasnt impressed with their rooms

they still want a 500 deposit which i do not want to pay.
we will be able to cancel a couple of rooms anytime but if for some reason we need to cancel more than that, we must do it within a week of reserving rooms.

i don't mind doing this if everybody pays me for the rooms in advance. this way if there are a bunch of people that can't go at the last minute i won't get stuck paying for the rooms out of my own pocket.

he is writing up a new contract and i told him to put car washing into it and he will mail or fax it to me in a few days.

i like the new hotel better, but it really doesnt matter to me. as long as the room has a bed and a place for me to park/wash my car im fine with it.

btw, i will be starting to collect the money for the rooms in atlanta. total comes out to $136 for two days per room. vito allready paid.

i have been trying to collect money for the hoses for a month now and only arvin and rene paid so far.

unbelievable.

i see how it might not work if we decide to stay at the new hotel. if people wait till the last moment to pay me for the rooms we might not be able to cancel them if they have an emergency or something and can't go.
