I thought it was a club rule that I was unaware of.

THE GREAT PUMPKIN IS COMING SOON!!!
      right, you are correct.

there was time when after the meet when everybody would go home or whatever, me, vlad, rene, and jay (wrx) would go out to hooters on the strip in ft.lauderdale and eat/drink. other times me, vlad, jay (wrx) and jay (coast guard) would go out most fridays to las olas riverfront and also get drinks.

there is no club rule since WE ALL assume that everybody else understands what is right and wrong.

I want people to come to the park with their wifes, husbands and kids, relatives, friends, cats and dogs. the park meet is to actually get to see the cars during the daytime, ask each other questions, let loose, play football or whatever and just enjoy each other's company. i talked to rene today after school and asked him to bring his family/kids out that sunday. the meet is not for everybody to get so ****ing drunk you can't tell your car from somebody's elses.

hopefully i am wrong but it seems like sean views every meet as a chance to get drunk AND then drive home drunk but like i said, hopefully i am wrong.

here is a pic from markham park:

                UPDATE! UPDATE!

A few people have told me that it would be better to have the meet on the 18th of July. Matt said 18th is better and another reason is that tony's bday is on the 18 and marc's on the 19. So the bbq will also be on the 18. And yes we will do a bbq not just chips/dips/sodas. We'll decide on a park since I am not sure Markham has grills. Rick, do you know?

Vlad has been working a lot lately and I have been working on NOPI planning as well as calendar and tshirts. It is hard and I can't do or remember everything by myself. I need somebody who would be interested in planning for the bbq. That means you will be in charge of finding a spot (maybe a park too?), buying supplies (i'll talk to vlad and rich and see whether they want to dip into the club fund for this), making sure all members know about this and such. Please let me know if you want to do this. Please keep in mind that you have to be serious about planning this.

Day 3 and no response...hmmm. Looks like this idea got blown out of the water.

Dima, I don't mean to rain on your parade but sometimes planning too much for a casual event can ruin the whole thing for some people. Besides, I'm sure everyone is busy enough with their own lives/problems to have to plan for a BBQ.

I suggest we keep this as simple as anyone wants to make it. For example, if you want to BBQ, arrange your own BBQ; or if you want it simple, just bring spam and bread (I don't know). In other words, bring whatever the hell you want to eat just so as long as we all get together.

I'm going to Markham on that day anyway and havin' my own BBQ. Whowever wants to join me can do so just as long as you bring your own damn food and if your food requires grilling...your grilling it yourself.

chips and dip is fine with me, its your wife that recommended we do a bbq. that's fine with me if people bring their own stuff but when they ask where are burgers i'll make sure to point them to you, lol

Anyone is more than welcome to a burger from my grill. The prices are as follows:

                        $5.00/burger
                        $10.00/cooked burger
                        $12.50/burger w/bun
                        $15.00/burger w/top & bottom bun
                        $20.00/cooked burger w/buns
$1.50/per topping including mustard and ketchup

...so if you're not bringing your own food, be sure to bring your wallets.

Arvin, I would like to buy a hot dog a bag of chips and a luke warm Yoohoo. But I refuse to pay more than$34.71 + tax and I'll steal condoments from Burger King on my way down South.
