What's wrong with drunk driving?

Oh, I see, go ahead and pick on peoples faults on the forum. Go ahead and point out that every friday night I recommend getting a few drinks and having a good time and oh yeah don't drive on the railroad tracks. Rather than pointing out that all of those may be bad, I think a little "optimistic constructive critisizm" is in order. Sure I'm relatively new and sure I can only make it out 4 or 5 times a month and sure every once in a while I get these blisters near--- wait, never mind.

Anyways, in all seriousness, since I am new and some people may or may not know me, I take driving very seriously and I am VERY much against drinking and driving. It never has nor continues to be my SINCERE intention to promote drinking and driving or drinking and then driving. I also understand that some people that may hang out are not of age to drink and if any are reading this... I AM NOT A ROLE MODEL! DO NOT LOOK UP TO ME AND DO NOT FEEL COMPELLED TO DO STUPID SHHHTUFF THAT I ABSOLUTELY NON-HEARTILY RECOMEND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: DRINKING PROFUSELY AFTER A MEET, DELVING INTO ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS RACING ON STANDARD TRAFFIC STREETS, PEELING OUT OF PARKING LOTS, OR TRAVELING FASTER THAN THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT ON ANY STANDARD TRAFFIC STREET.

I do however, enjoy having a drink here or there, as I am sure most everyone else does. And I do have a LEGAL limit that I am entitled to, being "of age". And of all people, I do know that my body handles alcohol differently than other people, especially since I have a medical condition which, with certain types of food and drink, cause me to bring back that whole, 1st (first(yes, first)) alcoholic drink. I know what you're saying, "Wow, if that happens, why would you waist your money?" Well, like all precious things in life... love, friends, the dream job, your car, etcetera, etcetera... you don't know what you have, untill you don't have it anymore. That one drink is worth it.

So, Well, Now that I have explained myself, I hope it sufficient enough for any concerns that any person, party, 2nd part, 3rd part, or their affiliates, bla, bla, bla, may have had. I would however, appreciate it, being that I really don't use this internet thingy, that if someone does have a concern or a question or anything of that sort, I ask that you approach me in person with your concern for my alcoholism or any other offense that may be looked down upon or considered a fault or abnormal in any "civilized, functional society".

good post. wasn't my intention to pick on you but like you have said, you are new, and since i don't know you that well, I have no idea of knowing whether you are serious or not.

Also I wanted to add that the "legally drunk" point as assumed by the law comes before a person would realize that they are drunk. So somebody might have a drink and not feel drunk at all, they would go out and get busted for driving drunk or crash. So my point is, THINK BEFORE YOU DRINK.

I suggest we keep this as simple as anyone wants to make it. For example, if you want to BBQ, arrange your own BBQ; or if you want it simple, just bring spam and bread (I don't know). In other words, bring whatever the hell you want to eat just so as long as we all get together.

I'm going to Markham on that day anyway and havin' my own BBQ. Whowever wants to join me can do so just as long as you bring your own damn food and if your food requires grilling...your grilling it yourself.
