      actually worked on the ****ty Nissan today.

      pulled the front section of the driveshaft, disconnected the rest of the lower harness, and pulled the turbo/manifold.

      any of y'all know how to test an internal wastegate actuator? gotta figure out why it was overboosting so badly.

        Just hook up an air compressor with a regulator on it to the waste-gate.

        If your regulator doesn't do sub 20 psi well throw a manual boost controller in front of it and T a boost gauge in as well.

                Cleared out the garage and finally gave the woman's passport some much needed love. Been way overdue for an oil change, Replaced the shocks. Next is to replace upper ball joints and cv boot, get some cross drilled slotted rotors on dat biotch, unclog the damn EGR to.

                  Pulled the rebuilt head off of the old motor and discovered mini pasta shells in the front cover.

                  So that was nice.

                              No turbo. N/A hoon/track/autox mobile to beat within an inch of its life every time i drive it. Car has 97k miles on it, i paid $2300. :D

                              Only power mods destined for this thing is i/h/e, shave head .060, homebrew port job, shim under buckets, valve springs, megasquirt. (Gonna spin it to 7800-8000.) Probably a 1.6 clutch/flywheel setup.

                              Beyond that, i have a ton of parts already for it.
