is there a not-obnoxious option for a Miata exhaust? looking for a catback for my dad's 97M because I don't want to **** with fixing stock **** and the only one I have any experience with is the RS3 which I loved and he hated.

Yeah that setup that was on that red car i bought when i met you sounded awesome and was very classy.

Full setup was Cobalt header, Roadstersport midpipe, Cobalt from there back.

Brospeed/Bosal is a good option if you want quiet and non raspy exhaust. Good option for an N/A setup for someone who wants something mildly louder then stock at idle with a deeper tone at full throttle without rasp or making your ears bleed.

I forget, was that thing on the quiet side? I was considering Cobalt but all of the videos on YouTube kinda suck. Also thinking about Borla because I love the one on my ZX2.

obvs if it were my car I'd buy some $150 eBay garbage because the car would be low enough to make it a wear item, but some goofy fart cannon on an otherwise stock Miata would be terrible.

The I'd look into the brospeed setup then. I believe it was stainless steel, and it was joking called the wife pleaser exhaust on m.net. So I think your old man would find it pleasing. It worked nicely for me till I boosted my miata.

I'm really regretting having dumped all this money into the Escort. Trying to sell parts back to some of the cheapest/brokest communities i've ever seen in my life is/is going to be a nightmare.

Never again. Miatas and Jeeps from here on out.

Yeah it was quiet. Just a little bit more sound than stock, deep-sounding. But when you really got into it, the intake on that car drowned out the exhaust anyways.

How much of stuff underneath a BG would swap into that thing? Specifically talking control arms, shocks, spindles/brakes.
