My car is a Protegé GT.
I bought, stripped and junked a '96 MX-3 GS for all the drivetrain and suspension parts in my car.
I'm normally not fond of people making up model designations for their cars, but I feel this one actually makes sense.
Protegé GT + MX-3 GS = Protegé GT-S
There's no other GT-S models, so I figured it sorta follows suit with everything Mazda did. If Mazda made a GT w/a 6 cyl motor, I think this would be the name for it.

It's the K8. If you read the page you'd know it's a mock-up motor for the KLZE. It's my daily driver and I don't have the time or resources to sort out issues with a KLZE. So I'm running the K8 and sorting things out. Once I have everything ready and I'm confident with it, I'll swap in the KLZE. (Sometime over this winter.) K8 to KLZE swap is very simple.
