    Rear coilovers......

Took out the old struts/H&R springs-(sold)

cut up the struts & assembled the coilovers

the Cusco plates had seen some rough corrosion via the road salt over several winters..... still quite strong- cleaned several times ( PS dishwasher safe ) and self etching primered with 2 coats before 2 final coats of black paint.

Rear strut towers are slightly notched to clear the camber plate adjustment bolts.
struts are temporarily installed & tires on..... welding the cage base points tomorrow.

I cant find it but Vaughn had a small write up about the noticeable difference he observed when he tied the towers to the rear (roughly near where the hatch latch is). I know yours will already be an improvement with the vertical braces/cage welding, just some food for thought Ryan. Looks good.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

i believe i have a photo of that actually........

but i believe the only real benifit would be in the form of strength to the sheetmetal.
im adding a tow hitch. so the rear frame rails will be connected. the rear hatch metal itself tho im not really worried about

                        Got dash???

well.... i sorted out notching the dash!! now to find another "doner dash" to cut up & make fill pieces for behind the bars.

step for step of test fitting....

I no longer have outer defrost or heater vents. which kind of sucks but thats the cost of safety
