    Sorry to hi-jack
quick question is what kind of clutch do you plan on running? Some one said it before but the 4wd doesn't like the puck clutch. I have a dual friction disc in my car and if I try to slip the clutch in launching it chatters like an SOB.
    Jason
I put in my stage 3 6 puck clutch that i was running in my fwd car. Im hoping that I wont mess up the trans with this clutch. But its ok cause I know a few other local people with GTX trans laying around cause they got fwd cars and bought a complete GTX swap. I can get another trans for less than $200. I think I might stock up on a couple of trannys.
And when I pulled out the trans I discovered that it was a NA clutch trying to hold that power. Thats why I was slipping at high boost.

Here' she is in her current state as of this morning. I still need to install the engine bay harness and install the GTR intake manifold. Then im going to start plumbing up the fmic. And then she will go to the muffler shop to have the Corksport downpipe modded to mate up to the 4wd exhaust. She has to be ready by this thursday so we can go drag racing.

        Got any pictures of it?

Yea, I did get it running, then I threw it back in my garage to clean the entire engine bay and install some new toys. I'm moving in the next few weeks, so it'll be put back together by then and I'll snap some pics then. Lemme know if you know anyone looking to get rid of gtx seats.

And I will probably have a Viscous LS Diff for sell in a month or so
Im gonna run lucas 75w90 just cause ive always ran lucas oils in my car.
And how much fluid do I add? and is the center diff have to be filled in a separate spot? I noticed the fill and drain plug on the side of the trans. Cant I just fill it from the speed-o area like on a fwd car? And will it fill the entire transmission?

Well today I finished routing the piping for the front mount intercooler. I also bought nice steel braided hoses for the turbo water lines and for the oil return hose. I will have her ready this week for drag nite to our local track except the exhaust isnt finished so we will run open exhaust. I think im going to tow it there so I dont get hassled by the cops for no exhaust.

Look under the car for 2 sets of fill/drain holes. Yes, the centerdiff is separate. You can fill the tranny through the speedo hole if you want, and fill it till fluid comes out the lower drainplug. Same thing with the centerdiff only you have to fill it from the upper drain plug.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Well last night I should of known that something was wrong with the 4wd cause it was driving flawless

the last week. Last night I think I blew the motor. I got oil on # 3 & 4 spark plugs and oil comming out

the breather filter, and lots of white smoke. But If you run it on higher rpm's its not all that bad? I had to

drive it 5 miles like that on the fwy and I flew home at 130 mph and the motor had a little less power

than normal but I still was boosting her at 12psi. Now this morning it barely wants to start and misfires like crazy.

Did I kill the motor? or did I blow a headgasket? Or did I damage something in the head? Oh yea there is no water in the oil.

Oil on 2 plugs=blown engine. Oil on all 4, could be blown turbo seals, but you're looking at rings, or maybe just a HG if you're lucky...check compression, do a leakdown and see if it's top or bottom end.
