stupid F'n Pita
Bolt Broke My Table Clamp!!!!!!
So When I Did My Engine Rebuild My Origanal Table Clamp Broke Because Of A Bolt. Well I Got A Used One That Was Better Made. So I Put The Rear Hub In It So I Can Get The Stupid 12" Bolt Out. Well I Took 3 Wacks At It And The Clamps Base Broke In Half. I Barely Hit The Dang Thing. So Thats 2 Clamps In 1 Year. Im Getting A Big One This Time. Or At Least 1 That I Cant Break So Easy.

i torched the heck out of it and to no avail. i torched it 7+ times and nothing. so i found some spindles at the yard for pretty cheap.
so i looked up prices on carpart .com and found that a yard up north has 1 off a tracer and 1 off a escort but the weird part is that the tracer 1 is 35$ and the escort 1 is 20$. wtf? also found out that 93-98 spindles are the same for the protege. and the protege spindle is 40-50$.
also a 91-97 escorts work. and 91-96 tracers too.
im finding this so weird.Last edited by frogi323; 06-07-2009, 06:32 PM.

I worked at a wrecking yard for a few years. My advice: Get it red hot, then pour cold water on it. The thermal shock will help you break it free. Sounds to easy to work, but it usually works every time. If not swear at it, then chuck it LOLDominic Toretto rocks a MaZda and his cell phone number starts in "(323)"
