yeah thats the plan, any pointers on how to remove it nice and easy? Ive removed side mouldings on all of my escorts, but the striping looks to be a little bit more of a task.I starter to peel it off and it would break apart every half an inch at most.

there are these eraser wheels that are basicaly giant pencil erasers on a mandrel. they work great! use them on low speed and medium pressure and work your way along the stripe like your erasing a pencil mark.

then buff and wax the car.

use a heat gun. its what ive always used. on my mazda6, i had to wax and buff also cause it left a line on the clear i had to work at to blend away.

I swapped the suspension the other day, still not exactly how i want it but its too damn cold to keep messing with it.It sitting on new struts up front with GC coilovers that were on my wagon and pink egt(which i now have back). The rear is on blown stockers with ebay coilovers.Ill be replacing them with some dropzone coils tomorrow.I also ordered a new gas tank to replace the leaker that keeps getting worse.Ive also started tearing my pink egt apart for the drivetrain parts. The roller was sold to a buddy of mine so its going to add to the v6 BG population around here.Im shooting for mid to late february to get the swap accomplished on this car.
