    wow, looks like a bit of work still. can't you swap everything over to the FWD configuration? Why are you by passing your heater as well? Just seems a little ghetto for a DD, maybe if it was a gutted track car or something lol.

      Shouldn't be any problems swapping the oil cooler over from your old block.

        the oil cooler lines for the miata block are smaller diameter than from the escort/protege block.

          note my location, Florida. Heat is never used and it didnt work for **** anyways. and nope, I can't the fitting coming out of the block isn't removable to my knowledge so theres no where to run a bigger OE style hose to so im just going to run those little lines.

          no but i think that may have been a contributing factor in the coolant leakage. and like i said the fitting on the head only has a small outlet which isnt removable..

            you could cut it off the head and tap the head for a 3/8" barbed filling and run the coolant lines that way

                Ditch the air bypass valve and isc and then there won't be any need to run the lines to the throttle body/intake. Not really needed down here anyways. I've been running without em for a long time now.

                  Ace, would you sell the small plate that was behind the miata crank pulley, the one with the 4 teeth? I want to try it for something with Megasquirt.

                    Im actually going to run the miata crank pulley and that might affect spacing and belt alignment so im going to keep it.
