I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

So, an update, been a LONG TIME.

I decided a few months ago to get rid of the MS3 and get a Jeep so I can play in the hills and get away from it all. After selling the MS3, I was saving a good amount per month so I started to rack up the parts for the car. A few pics of the daily. Nothing special, but it keeps me happy till I can play with my car.

Picked up several things for the car.

          23x8x13 slicks from nate.

Got the K-Sport suspension on the car.

Went to the corksport meet back in september and laid down 235 whp and 245 wtrq on a cracked head gasket.

Decided to part the 323 and save all the black interior for the car

As of 4/8/12 I blew up the engine. It just couldn't take it anymore and it decided that it wanted to retire itself. Got it back home and started to pull it apart.

Bought a full set of Super Pro bushings with the MX3 rear TTL's. Don't have a picture yet, as they are still sitting in the box. Waiting on more powder coat to come, then sand blast, then coat them.

Got the motor and tranny out as of 4/8/12 (less than 24 hours later lol) while it's out, I'm going to do the 5th gear swap in the transmission since they've been sitting around for a few years.

Got the dash out, FINALLY!! All I have to say is that I've got some words for the previous owner...........

Do you have a dyno of the car when it had a normal headgasket?

Small update. Parts arrived today to freshen up one of my spare motors. I have a BP auto that has been sitting in my shop. Ordered new valve seals, rear main seal, front crank seals, oil pan gasket, cam seals, valve cover seal, head gasket, and water pump. But the water pump didn't show up, so I gotta call and track it down. Going to use the timing belt from my current motor, or use my Gates belt that I was saving for my full motor build.

My seats/brackets also came in, but have to focus on the dash swap before I worry about the rest of the interior.

The first time I dyno'd it, I also think the head gasket was starting to go. I had what I thought was a mystery coolant leak, and would smell it from time to time, but I thought it was my coolant lines dripping onto the turbo and then instantly burning off, but come to find out, it was the head gasket all along, so, no, no dyno runs with the car on a normal head gasket.

I'm gonna have to trailer it someone. It doesn't have a cat, so no muffler shop will touch it. But I found a place a few hours away, that is really good, but you have to prove it's a race car. So I was gonna trailer it there without plates, and have him weld in the pipe. I wish I had a welder to do it myself. I'm guessing that downpipe should net me another 8-10 over the stock dump and stock pipe to the rest of the exhaust.

a good downpipe should net you more then 10whp. you should look into the intake pipe again with consideration
