Got a little more porting done to day. It slow going, my air compressor is just a little too small to run a die-grinder.

But here's my sweet new work bench!

I don't know how I worked with out one!

I started cutting out a new throttle flange for the supra throttle, don't worry Antonio I've still got plans for that mustang throttle.

And this is what took me most the day. I cut off the little flange that the purge control solenoid bolted to and there was also a TON of casting flash!

More porting. I ran outa propane but I did get the intake ports done.

In order to get the casting shift cut out, I had to open the ports a little past the gasket.

So the the intake mani is done till I make a trip welder to get the new throttle flange on.

The new port out line. To this

And that's the intake side. It's not the best but it's the best I can do with tools I have available...and it's WAY better than stock. Next it's on to the exhaust side. Then the head goes back on and I have to fab up a new lower radiator hose, put it the meth kit, get the COP's wired in, toss a new rear main seal on, and maybe a few other fun things...

I'm using an air die-grinder with a rasp for all the shaping and ruffing in. And an el-cheapo target brand dremel for the details. I also used a few files and a 60 grit flapper wheel last to get to get the finish I wanted. And almost a full can of WD-40 to help keep the bits from clogging up and a wire wheel when they did...

I'm over it now but today was cold and I was lazy. The welder is kinda a friend cooperative thing. A friend had a car that needed work and sellin so I did the work and sellin, he bought the welder and it sit a my place. Next up is a tubing bender. Then the spool gun and maybe a fender roller.

That's what I said but one of the guys going in on the roller is oprah rich and has about 20g's sunk in his SRT-4 and an other has a RX-7 that's his rolling resume (Wyotech grad). I'm just goin in on it cuz it'll be cheep and it's nice to do things right for a change Plus I'll get a cut of the "rental fee" when we loan it out to other friends
