Ya I found some for $150 shipped (BG GTX) and they're in Canada, shame it's still double the price of the Honda rad lol

its over double the size- which is critical since we have a CAST IRON block. just in case you forgot.
did i mention its a direct fit? and you can still get a T3 turbo in the space if need be with those radiators.

Eff that. Get a 4cyl 2nd gen probe rad, do a little fabrication, and tuck it under the core support. It's wider, a touch shorter, and will net you all the clearance you could ever need.

I don't see why the bashing of the civic rad. Plenty of people use them and there's tons of high bp(not tq haha) civics and tegs out there running the+ without a problem.

Inlet and outlet are diff. Plus I don't believe there is the surge tank on the 4cyl. Been a while since I looked, but it was a bitch finding the rad for my wagon. Plenty of 4cyl, not many jy kl rads were available in good shape. My rad was $42 Ryan, how much was yours?

ya the inlet/outlets are in an awesome place!!! I think the stock upper hose would fit and a an s bend for the lower.

Any pics of how you mounted it?

also do you have the specs for the height and length? I can only find core sizes lol

Civic radiator.... Never again will I use one. I can't figure out how anyone can even use one. I had one on my 323 for a short time while I had the original repaired (had a leak, and I had to braze it.) and the thing overheated no matter what I tried. As soon as I went back to the stock radiator, no more problems. Keep in mind, I was all motor. Let alone trying to cool a car with a power adder.

Anyways, today I installed "premium rotors" and ceramic pads on Lily. Also had a front caliper bushing kit to install since the ones on the RF caliper were swollen...well that didn't fix it and it's still dragging and making crappy noises lol so I'm going to pull the caliper off and file the inside down a bit to open up the clearances...no biggy there....

BUT (luckily) started with the LR caliper and it gave me nothing but grief, the piston wouldn't retract back into the bore, couldn't get the new pads on...kept working the mechanism back n forth...got it to retract finally and got the new pads on but it kept freezing up when I'd clamp everything down to set the piston clearance up...so I found a spot where it won't freeze up but god is my pedal travel something nasty right now because of it lol...

So need to work the RF caliper tomorrow which should only take 45mins I hope, then get to slap on a rear caliper when I get to London to visit the rest of my inventory lol
