I am pretty sure the BF's are a lighter to begin with.. I know my BF weighed in at almost the same weight with a B6T swap full interior, small stereo system with 2 small subs...

I got really lucky... nothing was crushed.. I drive the car as a daily and besides the heat shield for the exhaust by the gas tank rubbing on occation I have noticed any problems with the car cause of it going off...

Had a little fun today out autocrossing the car... It feels really soggy with stock springs and struts and winter tires on it... The course was short.. it was a very much a momentum style course.. When setting it up last night we had to consider it being icy and out there today, plus we knew there would be a lot of first time drivers out..

        My second to last run...

This was my fastest run of the day.. I started the day out with a 39.1 ..... After playing with tire pressures I got down to a 38.0..

Yeah we were both fine.. My gf was laughing and bugging me to make sure I got the camera to get pictures... The accident wasn't as bad as I looks.. When we slid off the road we were doing about 20km/h.... We hit ice under the foot of snow on the road and the car just went straight...

Maybe stock springs and their height saved your gas tank and fuel/brake lines from more damage! You and 323 are lucky!

Well spring is here.. Time to get the car set up for summer racing... After some fun over at Permin323 place last night I got my new coil overs set up and ready for install.. It took a little bit of machine work and playing around to get his old GC parts to work with the GTR coil over kit I got... Big thanks to Rob for all the help and the parts to make it all work...

Tonight I took some time to install it all...

How the car started out tonight in all her winter set up glory.. I still haven't fixed any of the dents from the off road experience back in november... I am not to worried about them.. The car isn't set up to look pretty...

Aww little GTX hiding in my disaster of garage in the back ground.. She's hopefully getting new suspension tomorrow..

                      Mmmm new front coil overs...

                      Installed..

Rear coil over up next to the stock springs and struts..

                      humm.. something is missing..

                      yaa! installed..

Saterday the car goes with me into work for a wheel alignment... Its a pretty ruff ride now should be good for racing this season... I'll have some more pics after I get the 17's back on it/the wheel alignment done and set the ride height...

Dang it ... now that I see them all installed I should have kept them for myself ...LOL

Now, I am very curious of the ride and performance you will have from them ... I guess we will see on Sunday out at the track EH ?

Glad they all went in with no problems ...

What sort of ride height do you have and strut travel once its sitting at where you want it ???

Post some pics of it ... :0)

I guess I should up date this again... About a month ago I installed a proper sealed battery box as well as an external kill switch... Since the batter was relocated to the truck I needed these 2 things to make the car legal to run at the drags again... It also just make the car safer for the streets... If I ever have a problem with the battery and it lets off gasses I don't have to worry about it being in the cab of the car where bad things can happen... I'll hopefully get pictures soon...

I took the car back out to the track tonight to run the 1/4 mile... What a great night it was... I believe under 100 drivers showed up tonight... Gates opened at 4:30, I rolled in at 6:00 and was car 39... I guess the threat of rain was enough to keep a lot of people from coming out... In 2 and a half hours I got 6 runs with the opportunity to have 9... I skipped 3 different rounds to try and cool the car off a little and eat some dinner....

Best run of the night on my 14" Toyo RA1's aired down to 12psi... 2nd gear burn outs

                              R/T .... 0.661
                              60' .... 2.170
                              330 .... 6.287
                              1/8 .... 9.713
                              MPH .... 72.24
                              1000.... 12.250
                              1/4 .... 15.250
                              MPH .... 88.73

I have really noticed and odd VTEC like feeling with my car from time to time... Some times it pulls really hard other time its a dead horse.. My first run was really odd.. It felt like the car was running out of breath at 6000rpm in 2nd gear, I ran it out to 6300 and shifted... When I hit 3rd gear the car pulled the same till about 55000rpm and then I got a bump in power and the car opened up and pulled strong till 7000rpm... I only ran 86.63MPH that run but I found it really odd how the car just all the sudden wanted to pull harder... I decided to strap my VRIS flaps open for the rest of the night... I didn't get that sensation in extra power and it didn't really help my MPH much... The only gain for my MPH was my shift timing... I went from shifting at 6500rpm down to 5800- 6000rpm... That was when my MPH started picking up..

With the clouds coming in and an mustang that tapped the wall I didn't think I was going to get a 6th run so I swapped out my tires and started to get ready to head home... Thankfully I was wrong and managed to get 1 in before the rain shut the night down.. I ran the last run with my 17's on the car...

This just goes to show how important a good 60' is...

With the 17's at 40psi, no burnt out

                              R/T .... 0.585
                              60' .... 2.420

                              1/8 .... 10.097
                              MPH .... 71.15
                              1000 .... 13.101
                              1/4 .... 15.640
                              MPH .... 88.35
