      ya i hope he has a light foot, or a pile of transmissions...lol... i still think the only reason im not running through them is i dont jump on it till like 3rd gear....lol... i like the higher speeds more....lol...

            It's going to be a lot easier on the transmission as long as he isn't launching it like crazy because the power will come in more linear. The problem with the small turbos ar that they build boost so fast that they shock the drivetrain.

            As far as oil lines the holset uses a standard Garrett oil return flange
            And I believe it is a 12mm x 1.5 metric fitting.

                      Looks to be a promising build.... I also dont like the idea of the heavy holset on that manifold... Disaster waiting to happen, but if you must keep it, then make a brace from the downpipe to the engine block, it will help alot.

                      Ive done many setups with similar ebay manifolds and bracing the DP to the block has proven to increase longevity.

                        well I know it will crack at some point we are going to brace it from downpipe and block and then also brace it from the bottom of the manifold to the top since the top and bottom are made out of steel.

                        The manifold is an ebay manifold and I have forged pistons and rods.

                          you could also brace it from the block to the turbo flange same idea as tino said

                            Almost ready to get this put together. Been gathering parts for a while now. Picked up an engine hoist yesterday. The setup will include all the parts here a gtr intake manifold, gtr ecu, a code vaf, 460cc rx7 injector and bp05 fuel pressure regulator. The gtx engine that is currently in the car is getting replaced with a bp05 motor for the time being. The gtx engine needs a head gasket so its coming out and also getting rebuilt with forged rods. The motor already has Wiseco pistons. Shooting for 275whp with the stock bp so around 13lbs is all it should take.
