My tall console is broken, remember? Escortfan, I don't have power windows or sunroof, the console is really the only thing I need right now. Thanks though.

perfect! that's exactly what I'm looking for.

you don't happen to have a BP 5-speed driver's side transmission mount bracket, do you? I can't seem to find one anywhere- I have the mount itself, but the correct bracket (the bit that bolts to the transmission) is unobtanium for some reason.

Chuck and Eddies in Southington has a BP Pro, the trannys gone, but that mount/bracket is hanging off one bolt. The BP is also out infront of the car

If i understand right then RS means R4 engine not V6 under the hood in the states. Is it B6 or B6D you are trying to turbo?

If B6D then you can plug all B6T parts (injectors, disty etc ) on the B6D engine and use B6T harness with B6T ECU.

If B6 then i did it like this and used stock B6 NA ecu:

No detonation what so ever @0.7bar of boost and was much faster than NA BP

It's a B6DE, so that's good to know. I'll track down a wiring diagram for the B6T and see if I can just re-pin the harness.

Get ready for OBTAINIUM because, I do have that trans mount bracket from my parted out GT. I think it's in my spare garage, either that or at my parents, if so it's still connected to the transmission. Let me track it down, and I'll photograph everything, and get you a quote. Need anything else? I have a really minty f2t diverter valve somewhere in one of my garages

you might have to clearance the engine block for the B6T stock turbo/manifold to work, for some reason the B6D that came in the MX-3's had an expanded web instead of the normal B-series profile. I'll see if I can find the link on MX-3.com about the topic.

Haha, I already bought an F2T diverter from you

interesting, I'll have to take a look at the block the next time it's light out

that is unfortunately not the right mount bracket- looks like it's from a 1.9, actually, or maybe an automatic. I appreciate you looking, though- how much for just the console piece?

Yes you can repin the harness BUT you will have to look into the speedo sensor wireing. If i remember correctly the wires were in the original harness but you can always do some wireing there. And distributor needs some modification to the fixing/fastening(hope thats right/sry for my bad english) holes. I dont remember correctly since i did it last in 2006 The timing with 95octane was ~8-10degrees@0.6bar WOT compared to the B6DE stock timing if i remember correctly.

that's assuming I use the B6T disty though, right? I know they're different, but if the wiring is the same, I'd keep mine... the goal is to use as much of the stock stuff as possible, and keep it more or less reliable. I'll only be running .6 bar or so- no need to be greedy, considering I'll have the beast as well.

I'll likely be comparing wiring pinouts at work tonight if I can find them, that should give me an idea of how this is going to work out.

The B6DE one is optical if i remember correctly and the B6T one uses VR or Hall sensor and the B6T disty is controlled by vacuum/boost and adjusts the timing accordingly. You can modify it to advance/retard more if you want to and you can adjust AFR from AFM. Remember timing is what makes it reliable(no detonation) and gives you better performance at the same boost level. Also when driving normal you will gain economy my NA took 8l/100km average before and after it took 6.5l/100km normal driving.

Also my coworker/garage-mate uses F2T ECU and sensors/afm etc on his car @ 0.8-1.0bar with no problems.

oh no kidding, that's pretty cool. to adjust the AFR with the AFM I'd have to swap to a VAFM, mine's a MAF (like the 1.8 Miatas use)... though I may have to anyway just to get it to work.

I think I know where I can find an F2T ECU cheap, I'll have to look into that as well.
