Yeah, I know about the year difference with the speedo, I'm just wondering why it changes depending on the harness used, considering the Escort harness has a plug in the harness that goes to the speedo gear assembly.

At any rate, some quality time with the Escort and MX3 factory wiring manuals should help me sort it all out.

Just realized I'm gonna need a Mazda BP rail and FPR, I wonder if the GTR stuff is still laying around at Brandon's...

I'm guessing the wiring for the speed sensor in the trans is intertwined in with the engine harness.

that's about what I figured... shouldn't be a big deal to rewire though

so it looks like nobody makes a decent aluminum radiator for the car, which means balancing coolant temps and charge air temps might be a little trickier. I think I may end up using a smaller, more efficient intercooler mounted offset to one side of the bumper opening... there's an ARC FC3S sidemount on eBay right now that looks like it'd be perfect- looks like 8"x10"x3" with 2" inlets and outlets.
