Or, I could trade the rust free car, swap on the doors, hood, lights, fenders onto it from the current 323 (the ones on my daily are in better shape than the ones that are on the rust free shell. But I wouldn't paint them to match, you'd have to do that.), and then swap the engine, trans, radiator, exhaust, gas tank, and anything else to make it bp powered, and then I keep the current daily shell to use as a race car.

I would be interested in the clean one all swapped. I just really won't have that much time up there, maybe a week max. Which is the only reason I'm worried about getting the Miata ready. I would definitely give up the Miata and the JDM b6ze to have a not rusty BG that I can drive back down! I really miss having a BP powered BG.

When will you be coming back here? I'd still need to have time to swap everything if I did this. Also, do you have any other miata parts that will go with the car? And what will it take to get the miata running again? I want to know what I'd be getting into if I decided to do this.

I sold it a few months ago to another student at the school I go to. I haven't seen it much since then and haven't talked to the new owner since I sold it. I was hoping he would join the site, but I don't think he has yet.

              Anyways, now I have a '99 zx2 as a daily driver.

I sort of miss the 323, though. I mean, my zx2 is much nicer options wise, and isn't so hard on my ears (the 323 gave me headaches on long drives due to the noise. lol) but I really liked it. It handled better than my zx2 and it was much quicker. And I liked the fact that is was a fun car, while my zx2 feels like a normal everyday car. and thats boring.... I gotta get some stuff done on it to make it more unique. And I gotta get some different seats! The current ones give me no headroom.

you would hate my current 323. for the exhaust tone/drone it has now.

I didn't dislike the tone. I actually loved how it sounded! It just was hard on my ears for driving long distances like I did every day. I didn't bother me at all until about a half hour of driving it like that. After that, I'd get out of the car with a headache and my ears buzzing. I can't figure out why it is, either. My race car is much louder, and makes my ears buzz while racing it, but it goes away as soon as I shut the car off. I'm starting to wonder if it's from my 323 being driven with that tone being constant, as I was on the highway, rather than my race car being on and off, as I'm always speeding up and slowing down.

I'm planning on using the largest resonator/oval muffler possible in the center, and no muffler...will be loud but won't drone haha.

Well, my 323 had a resonator as well, but it still droned. I think it was due to the large exhaust and due to the turn down at the end of the exhaust, which caused the exhaust noise waves to bounce from the pavement back to the car. I tried not having the turn down on the end, but it was so loud behind the car that I was afraid of getting pulled over by a cop if they followed me. So I put the turn down on the exhaust, and it became quieter behind the car, but louder in the car.
