Changed my rear wheel bearings!!! YAY for new parts! talk about slop/notchy on the drivers side & a crapped out seal-race on the passenger side.
BTW it was raining out & about 36 talk about ****ty conditions for finishing the work. Anyhow 2x4's & tarps make an excellent shelter against the rain.

    PICS!!!

Ok. I was just wondering because I know SOME of the RB25/26 NEO motors came with BB turbos as an option, but none of the RB20s ever came with it from the factory.

Did you rebuild it to be ball-bearing? Because the RB20 only ever came with a journal bearing turbo.

Tomorrow im swapping in another motor in the 4wd. Im not sure what exactly went wrong with the motor but she's getting swapped out for a fresh motor with a GTX bottom end with a NA head. Its a super clean engine that will have to last me until I finish the built engine. Im going to run a rebuilt skyline RB20det ball bearing T3 turbo on low boost so I dont blow 3 engines in a year. Ill post some picts in the morning before I get started.

I blew three of my 6.5 in speakers, and bought two pair of Infinity Kappa 62.7 from crutchfield. It should sound sweet. 12" type r is next on the list. And some rocker tick to go along with it.

As always a few days late but. Got my snows (Hankook icebears) put on to only find out that my 7k old tie rod on the right side is shot... So now i have to go buy another one (might be able to get it for free because of the lifetime warranty) and then go try to get a $60 alignment during this BUSY as f*ck week because of everybody being back for the holidays, etc.!

Jon: Damn man wtf. I hope you get her done ASAP so you have a car for the winter!

my starter went into self destruct mode this morning on the beater.... seems the bendix got stuck out, engaged with the flywheel.... all the way to work. i thought i noticed a strange whirring sound, but i chalked it up to the car always sounding like ****, and the fact that i havent driven it in several days. i shut the car off at work and it just kept cranking. left it running, ran in to work to get a 12mm to take off the battery terminal... when i came out the car had died and there was smoke billowing out from under the hood (uh oh!). no fire, i think the starter is totally cooked though.

smacked it with a hammer a few mins ago and reconnected the battery cable... no spark, so i'm assuming either A. the battery is dead or B. i did manage to loosen the solenoid. gonna pop start this biotch and drive it home on lunch break... got permission to leave early to try and fix it in the daylight.
