Sounds like a plan. Sorry about the lack of foresight on those bulbs getting changed. By the time I realized, it was too late. How's the "craftsmanship" holding up? It was my first major custom DIY replica part. I also had a spoiler kinda like Bo's that I DIY'd. Slowly I am collecting the oem parts that I was replicating back then, for if I ever acquire another 4wd.

its holding up very well! i hope not to add alot of weight as the grill flexes with the current added weight if i hold it in my hand. Mounted on the car, i dont foresee any issues.

This grill saved me a lot of headache and time in making my own, so modifying it is the easy part.

Nice! That thing was a mother****er to make. I was about 95% happy with the result. These projectors were in the plan for eventually. I actually have another grille, another set of those fogs, and a pair of those projectors somewhere. Maybe if I get bored this summer, I'll give it another go.

But then again, I do have the real version of that grille now already. Maybe I'll do an escort or tracer grille with the projectors behind those yellow glass fogs.

Thanks Bo. If only the light pattern was good for seeing instead of blinding, and if you didn't look at the back, it could probably pass as MartianDomesticMarket, super rare yo. Haha, it is one of a kind.

yea it seems like it could have been the facelift edm foglight grill that never existed, since its the round emblem instead of the mazda logo

Yeah, I could agree with that. I also liked how I deleted the badge, and just kept the grille-badge mounting surface as the badge.

Dropped off the BP head at the machine shop for clean up/milling, and the clutch pedal started to go to the floor on the way home, with no external leaks. I think the clutch M/C is gone.

Pulled the insurance off my BG monday, she's going to be sitting all winter so I can save up for all her goodies! Don't have to worry about the subframe retaining nut, the alignment, or the fueling issue now

Finished my timing belt and rear brake install. Haven't taken it out since it snowed. Been driving my beater (mx3 gs) instead.

Need to install new brake rotors on the front and short shifter with bushings. Also need a car wash badly!!!

I pulled the trans out of my protege today. I'll be sending the clutch and flywheel off to KYclutch to get rebuilt and machined to match.
