After two years of being broken I fixed the cruise control.
If I ever get to the A/C everything in the car will actually work.

Using Linux for anything serious besides server or software dev is like using a tin can and a string for telecommunications.

Got my front end all converted over to GT-R stuffs, but found my calipers are sticking a bit. Can anyone tell me the piston diameter, so I can order new ones tomorrow? I may have to just touch up the pistons I have, and put new seals in.

              washed mine.

may have to do it again by hand, since the touchless car wash didn't get all the bug goo off.

I failed to obtain a rebuild kit for my GT-R calipers, so I decided to give something else a try. Picked up some Mazda Millenia S dual piston units. Low and behold, they pretty much bolted right up. Just had to shim the bracket in 1mm so it would sit perfectly center, and trim the dust shields.

That was just mocking it up, as I wasn't sure they would fit. Now I'm going to clean off the packing grease and paint them black.

Thanks. I'm doubtful they would fit your setup unless you found some rotors with a very small offset. There's 10 mm difference in clearance between the rotor center of this setup vs a Probe/MX6 etc. This is using 626/speed Protege rotors, which I believe have the same offset as the older stuff. Basically, the GT-R and the millenia have a further distance from the hub face to the caliper mounting ears than the other setups. It's close enough that I'm sure you could make it work.

continued the tradition of **** going wrong whenever I try to modify it. Iceman is on, but I'm going to need a more permanent solution for that vacuum line that goes from the intake pipe to the booster check valve.

also, now that I'm back from vacation I can spend more time cleaning up my 98 VC so I can send it out for powder coating- got sidetracked by trying to get the KA head to the machine shop before I left.

Fixed the vacuum line coming off of the intake and replaced the line from the booster to the check valve since it was partially collapsed... Did this all with a flashlight since we lost power a little while after I woke up tonight, haha
