And today, I drove it and the brake light kept coming on under acceleration. brake fluid was low. I thought my ebrake button was sticking again.

I have one sitting at work that i havnt put on yet, but it looks exactly like v-belt pulley except its ribbed. Pretty much the same as the Miata one.

Repaired the lower portion of the speedo cable that snapped. It's working at 80mph and it doesn't shimmy shake as it was doing for the last 2 years. Still going to order oem ones from non-**** online mazda dealer.

installed the S/R Borla today, and discovered that my stock muffler was starting to rot out so it was good timing. ended up having to sawzall the old muffler off and then use a cutoff wheel to remove what was left of the pipe.

it's kinda interesting- wayyyyyyy quieter than I expected. you definitely notice that it's there at idle/low rpm and a bit on the highway with the stereo off, but at WOT all you can hear is intake. I love it... except for that stupid-ass exhaust tip. I was unprepared for how dumb it looks in person.

debating putting the PCM in before work or waiting til Friday. also have to clean up the leftover powder residue from the new VC and take the crank pulley to the machine shop... almost have this car how I want it though.

The S/R muffler is way quiet. I was running my first week on the KL swap with no axle-back. Then I attached the 2.5" inlet Modified S/R Borla, and it's so quiet now. Yeah, the tip is retarded, which is why I welded on a 6" long 2.5" stainless pipe in place of it. Looks stock, unless it's sitting next to another Escort.

**** is definitely going away, probably gonna get a nice subtle twin outlet tip or something. Also threw the PCM in, I'm surprised how much more jam it has down low.

Did the big three upgrade since I had some grounding issues, cut everything down and added o terminals and put them in place. All I need now is to find an 80 or 60 amp fuse between the alt and the positive terminal, which is turning out to be ridiculously difficult to find locally, gonna try an obscure audio place tomorrow but if not I might just run it non-fused and order one online.

I dunno man, Brandon had that setup with the GTR motor in his old 4WD and used to launch the thing in boost and it never blew up. Big turbos rule pretty hard.
