I got a big crack across windshield a few days ago and replaced the glass today. Unfortunately the plastic trim on the sides was already broke by the previous owner, and he simply glued them on. RIP plastic trim...You will be missed

Brought Humpty home from the bodyshop. it now has a straight front end and engine bay. Time to fill it up with stuff again, time and money allowing. fist thing is to find out why the driverside upper motormount is, like, 2" twisted. Oince that's settled, we can try and attach the lower front trans mount and see if maybe the engine sits where it's sposed to again...
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Does anyone have a how-to on replacing the front lca's rear bushing? I'm ordering new front lca's and they come with the front bushing already installed and I want to put new ones in the rear while I have it apart.

I don't have any other choice but to go poly. Looking at some videos, I may be buying or trying that HF bench 3 ton press to get it out.

Just heat the bushing with a propane torch, they'll come out eventually on their own devices.

Pulled the alt. yesterday. Thought I might melt. Late afternoon, lying on concrete that had been warmed by 104 degree weather. I sizzled.

                              I should clean the garage...

Pulled the battery to get it load tested. Didn't have to lie down. Only 97 degrees. I'm spoiled.
