Managed to destroy a part that is NLA from Ford and Mazda and apparently unobtanium within the time frame that I need it (right now), so the Probe is now a driveway ornament and I'm driving the MX3 again... this car is superior in every way, slipping clutch and complete lack of power be damned.

I can now confirm that the adapter brackets to allow Miatas to use the larger rear sport brakes will bolt onto rear BG spindles without having to source the elusive and often overpriced Miata sport calipers/brackets, allowing us to keep our stock stuff and only needing to buy the brackets and rotors to do the conversion.

Finally had time to work on my car again. Put the motor back in, did the mounts, cross member and ferdi's bushings. Soild front and rear mounts along with ferdi's bushings = no fun.

Sparkplugs told me I better ignore the datalog that said my AFR's were OK after that downpipe install, or else.. I added almost 10% more fulel to the high boost areas of the fuel map, did another datalog, got rid of the small high RPM misfire, saw more realistic AFR numbers, and my plugs look normal. Whew. Dodged a friggin bullet. I have no idea, no idea at all, why the engine in that car hasn't blown itself to smithereens ages ago. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, I guess.
