Custom head, tranny(auto), an rear end.

good, now until you have money. Devote your time to learning about engine building, frame geometry, and general mechanics. You OBVIOUSLY have NO clue what you are talking about. From what I have read of your posts, which are full of an abundance of fail, you are just repeating things that you have heard before but dont really know what they mean.

11,000 rpms in a BP? you have any idea why you cant spin them at that speed? It is due to the speed the pistons travel. To reach higher RPMs you need a shorter stroke. Then you would also need better valve springs, solid lifters, yadda yadda yadda. Anyways, the weight of the rotating assembly is not what creates this rev limit that you should not exceed. Once you reach a specific velocity with the internal parts, they tend to fall apart.

Seriously. I recommend you try and learn some stuff. Dont just use out of context things you have heard.

Anyways, for less money, you could by a stroked 1.8 from flyinmiata that they would build for turbocharging for you.

Also.... what are with the transmissions that you keep throwing out there? Do you even have an inkling of what you will need to do to attach them to the BP?

GO LEARN STUFF. Then return so we wont feel so bad making fun of you. At this point, it is just shooting fish in a barrel.
A mathematician, a physicist and a biologist sees two people enter a house, and three people leave. "They must have reproduced in there", the biologist says. "No, obviously there were one or more people already in the house" said the physicist. Then the mathematician says "If one more person enters the building, it will be empty"

you do realize that at that level of boost, the studs that hold down the head are under so much stress that they stretch, and when they stretch, the head raises off the block and all of your coolant pisses into your cylinder bores, right? Just saying. 40 psi is kind of asking a lot. and sleeving your bores isnt enough strengthening to make this work. plus all the other flaws that have already been pointed out.

        theres my two bits.

all you needed was some NOS stickers and a type-r badge... be sure to get the CF patterned ones, b'cause those aren't just good for HP, but PSI too.. resistor chip the AFM, get an intake "tornado", and a ebay cone filter... and you can laugh at everyone who said you coudnt make that power as you roll. people will point, but thats just cuz they're jealous of your powar.

then you gotta detail the outside.... but if your strapped for cash at that point, use duct tape and Krylon (instead of vinyl decals) and sharpie colored lenses on flashlights underneath (instead of neons) for that "street" effect.. and you save money too!

          fux the haterz!

I think he had enough flamers on this thread. It's getting old and he probably knows by now that he was just in the 1st stage of learning about tuning

eh, it's all in good fun. on a serious note? sometimes, just sometimes, the people with the strangest ideas of all make the biggest breakthroughs of all. lack of funding leads to improvisations we can ALL use.

I've been up early browsing and this is what I came across. This is dumb. Even if it has front end damage you don't deserve that car. It's better off being a parts car, saving some other gtrs out there, than being trashed by you. At least then it would still have it's honor.
