Thanks intruder, thats exactly what i used. as for the spoiler i have no idea where to get one or what its called... it was on a parts car that i bought because the trunk was in a lot better shape then mine.

ohhh yea i just saw the '97 Protege LX' part of your sig..damn, i got excited because i thought u did something to it so your turn signals can be on the top instead of the bumper...do u kno if thats possible?

Santos, there's a nice alternative to #4. Look into the 3rd gen Mazdaspeed wing. It's the ... 2003.5 version I think. You can get it fairly cheap too.

Nice, I like it. Will it fit on my 97' trunk without massive fabrication?

don't see why it would require any fabing. i don't think the dimensions changed enough to worry about from second to third gen.
