My battery is gangster leaning on the strut tower because it does not level out with the frame rail for the batt tray.
Wait, I hope he didn't send you the prototype one that I'm supposed to be getting to test on the BHA cars lol.

Wow ... I dont know why you have had such a problem with AWR ... I had smooth dealings when I have gotten the mounts when I ordered them .

I got all 4 for my project . Even the newer one for the tranny to body mount that you just got . All the mounts I got where quality built , good powder coating and welding

          .

            my pics:

this only fit into the mount until after a good bit of grinding by jinx

no threads for battery box to be found, also all parts and welded on one side.

I would like to point out that we aren't smoking crack here. We had 3 of these side by side and each one was completely different in size and spacing of the steps of the rod. Who knows how many different ones actually exist and which one they are actually using to build these from. For the OEM mounts, these differences do not matter, but for the AWR one it clearly does. The battery tray when in place is now slanted towards the strut tower and floating just about a 1/2" from the frame rail bolts on the tray.

This is an unmolested escort one. The only one that came remotely close to fitting was the kia one from Tony's trans, which is the one I ended up grinding down to make it fit. Once bolted to the frame rail with the bracket inserted, it wouldn't line up with the stud holes. I really had to pry it in place enough to get one bolt in at a time.

man, i have 3 AWR mounts on my mazda6, all fit great.
my probe GT turbo has two mounts from them, and the trailing links. all fit without issue
my fe3 626gt has two of there mounts, and there front strut tower bar. and once again, not a single issue.

sux that you got something your not happy with. id def stay in contact with tony. i know when a 2.0 guy on PT had an issue with a mount, he ended up sending out 3 different ones to help him out. tony has always worked with people when they have issues. you just need to give him a chance. but there really is no excuse for the mount taking so long to arrive in the 1st place.

Wow .. the pics of the one you got is completely different than mine . On all levels . Powder coating , fit and finish of welding etc . What the hell !!!!

They must of had that one laying around when they were mocking up to make the production model . This had to be a prototype they sent you .

I got a hold of him today, and he was a bit busy.

I'm thinking, one of his other guys did this since I know he has a couple guys working in his shop.

I'm supposed to have a phone convo around 10am PST, so I'll let you know then.
